Another thank you card as part of a 10-card order. Nearly identical to the one below but varied a tiny bit. The base is textured cardstock, the embossed paper is standard cardstock, and patterned paper is Basic Grey (my fave) Urban Couture.

Thank You Card – Part 6
August 30, 2008Thank You Card – Part 5
August 30, 2008Another thank you card as part of a 10-card order. Found this paper while looking through my stash and thought Hey! T’would be good for a more manly card with the blues and the browns and the subtle yellows. The base is textured cardstock, the embossed paper is standard cardstock, and patterned paper is Basic [...]
Celebrate Frog Card
August 30, 2008This card and its accompanying gift are going to be approximately an entire month late by the time they make it to Cody. I really have no excuse, though it did take a while for the kids and me to decide on what to get him. His ♥mom♥ is curious about whether or not the [...]
A Grandma’s Newest Dearheart
August 29, 2008This card is for one of the nicest gals at work, Paula! Her daughter recently had her second girl, so it was time to celebrate with a handmade card. The base paper and glittered ducky patterned paper are from Nana’s Nursery, the duck and bear embellies are Do-Jiggies, the flowers are Primas, the ribbon is [...]
A Grandma’s Newest Dearheart – Inside
August 29, 2008This is the inside of the card I made for Paula to celebrate Ahsha’s arrival. The cool part about this whole card is that Paula emailed me seven different pictures of Ahsha and told me that she had a difficult time choosing a picture so the burden was on me. Knowing Paula’s and my quirky [...]
You’re Purrr-fect Congrats Card
August 29, 2008I can’t believe it’s been so long since I’ve posted a project, but I have been a card making fool lately!! This card was made for an awesome gal who took her medical boards a couple of weekends ago, and her hubby wanted to surprise her with a handmade card (very, very smart man!). The [...]
You’re Purrrr-fect Card – Inside
August 29, 2008This is the inside of the card above. The stamp is Studio G, which I heat embossed. The paper is standard issue cardstock, and the scallop is Bazzill textured Edges.
Thank You Card – Part 4
August 23, 2008So this is a nearly identical card to the one below, I just really enjoyed working with these colors and textures. Today was our division picnic and we basically spent about 3 hours straight playing with the kids and 1 hour eating and conversing. It was a great day even though relatively few people actually [...]
Thank You Card – Part 3
August 23, 2008Hi there, here’s another thank you card I made, and it is based on one that Julee posted on her Poetic Artistry blog. I love the rich colors and of course the texture of the Bazzill paper, along with Basic Grey and Junkitz. The “Thanks” is heat embossed and popped for added dimension.
Happy Birthday Maggie
August 20, 2008This card was made for Maggie, who turns 10 this month. Remember 10?? I barely do, but one thing I remember is getting a Pac Man t-shirt with pink 3/4 sleeves and my name on the back in rainbow letters – I LOVED seeing my name on things at that age, so I went with [...]
