QKD Royal Wednesday – Elf Fairy Magic

It's a Royal Wednesday blog hopIt’s a Royal Wednesday blog hop for Queen Kat Designs!!! If you came from Andrea’s blog, then you are on the right track, with your head spinning from all the wonderful creations you’ve seen along the way! The hop started at the QKD blog, so pop over there to experience all the fun from the beginning =)

I love this fairy for her seemingly carefree attitude. See the leg up in the air? For some reason it just makes me happy, thinking of her as I do my daughter: prancing around without a care in the world. That is how childhood should be, don’t you think? My terrible parents could have taken a valuable lesson from this fairy! =) I used some Cosmo Cricket Love Notes paper and chipboard “True” accent. The glittered fairy paper is from a piece of Once Upon a Time by DCWV. I stamped Ms. Lovely Elf Fairy with Timber brown StazOn ink and embossed with clear powder. I wanted her to truly shimmer on the paper so that she wasn’t outdone by the lower fairy, so I carefully painted her with apricot Shimmerz. To the left of the fairies you see just a hint of a decorative edge poking out; this was made with shimmery vellum and a Fiskars edger. I sewed on this card and used some Paper Warehouse ribbon. If you get over there fast, Queen Kat Designs still has 35% off acrylic stamps – act now before this deal is gone forever =)
