Yep, another card like this, I had to do it. Found my Cosmo Cricket Love Notes paper, looked up and saw this wide satin copper ribbon I bought at WallyWorld, then it all came together. The thread I used to sew everything is also copper! I’ve forced myself to be a WHOLE LOT MORE patient [...]

Simply Wonderful
Remember how I reorganized my scrap room/office? Well, I have yet to organize all the paper I have, so as I was going through some the other day, out of nowhere I got the inspiration to make this card from some Cosmo Cricket Jitterbug papers and diecuts. I embossed everything with my AlienBug, sewed everything [...]

Ooops – Let It Snow?
I made this card for Rhonda, who lives in Oregon, and although I meant the rub-on sentiment to reflect a desire for it to snow in Northern Colorado, by the time Rhonda received the card, it HAD snowed in Oregon (which wasn’t a good thing). Hopefully Rhonda still likes me! I’m sorry that [...]

A Tree for My Sis Alana
Everybody should have a sister like Alana!! She’s kind, compassionate, sincere, and loves purple the way I love alien green…so of course her (late) Christmas card is purple!! Ohhh…and the bling on this card that’s showing up blue really is purple. Thanks for looking!

A Tree for My Girl Tina
Tina, bless your heart for always always always checking my blog! You know I love ya!! I hope that you’ve received this card already!! I do so love the rich texture of the white paper, but I don’t know who makes it since there’s nothing on the back of the paper. Thanks for looking!!

Basic but I Love It!!
This is my best friend’s Christmas card…a bit basic, embossed fancy schmancy paper on top of patterned paper on top of Bazzill Bling, but it’s some of my favorite ribbon (C-line and I both love that color green). Thanks for looking!!

A Tree for the Zayazes
Yep, another tree card, slightly varied. These look so elegant (IMHO) for how quickly they come together that I’ve made quite a few. This one is for the Zayaz family (I used to work with Steve at Amex Biz Fi, and Angel takes our picture nearly every year). Thanks for looking!

A Tree for Sarah
Yes, I do have a distinct affinity for this tree embossing folder for my Alienbug, which I wouldn’t have if it weren’t for my wonderful Sister of my Soul Cindy!! This card is for a friend of mine in northern Cali, with whom I share a birth month and date (she’s several years younger than [...]

A Tree for the Estradas
Hope you had a very Merry Christmas!! Contrary to my infrequent postings, I really have been a mad, card-making momma! I’ve made a number of the same design but with subtle changes. This card is for our Estrada friends down in Texas — we sure do miss them! Thanks for looking!

Thanks a Million!!
So I’ve had this stamp for quite a while now but wasn’t sure exactly how to use it. Then I looked on Becca’s blog at this card of hers and things just started clicking. Love that! So here’s the recipe for my version of that card:
papers = cardstock from Me and My Big Ideas and Cosmo Cricket; [...]
